On volume 10 of this series of offshore radio recordings you will get approximately 25 hours of recordings from 1968-1970 from Radio Caroline, Radio Veronica and Radio Northsea International.

 

 

Recordings include a number of broadcasts from the final 2 months of the original Radio Caroline up until the ships were towed away in March 1968.

Recordings include broadcasts by Johnnie Walker, Carl Mitchell, Roger Day, Don Allen, Andy Archer, Henry Morgan and Robbie Dale.

Recordings include 8 hours of broadcasts from 27. February, just 5 days before the end. You will hear the final Roger Day breakfast show and the final Johnnie Walker show. Further the last ever broadcast from Radio Caroline North.

You will also get a number of broadcasts from Radio Veronica from 1968 and 1969, the station being the only offshore station in Europe at that time.

 

From 1970 a new offshore radio era started with Radio Northsea International.

On this CD you will hear a number of test broadcasts from RNI, including the first ever broadcast, made by german disc jockey Horst Reiner January 23 1970. There are also tests made by Hannibal, Johnny Scott and Roger Day.
