On this special you can listen to the final 9½ hours broadcasting from the most successful of all offshore radio stations, Radio London.

Monday 14. August 1967 was the day the british government outlawed the offshore radio stations. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon on this day Radio London went off the air for the final time.

On this CD you can listen to the Breakfast show with Chuck Blair from 5.30 undtil 9.00, followed by Pete Drummond from 9 until 12, when Ed Stewart does his final show until 1.30. At 1.30 it’s the Juicy Fruit show and finally from 2 until 3 o’clock Radio London presents their final hour.

Radio London’s final hour is one of the most memorable from any offshore stations.
